Taiwan SIF Introduction

Given the increasing severity of climate change in recent years, the financial sector is facing the challenge of transitioning to a low-carbon, resilient, and inclusive economy. Furthermore, the United Nations has been actively promoting sustainable finance and encouraging global cooperation to address environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Therefore, UN initiatives and frameworks stress the urgent importance of integrating sustainability into financial decision-making, making sustainable investment a key trend for global development.

In response, the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) is hosting the 5th Taiwan Sustainable Investment Forum & Awards (Taiwan SIF & SIA 2025). This forum welcomes government, business, and academic leaders to support each other and share solutions amidst an evolving global landscape. Through cross-sector collaboration, we aim to promote sustainable growth, empower Taiwan’s financial sector, and create a positive cycle of green investment, innovation, and impact. The Taiwan SIF is an open and inclusive platform! We invite global participants to join us in shaping a more sustainable and prosperous future!
